Election Worker Coordinator
Gatekeeper Gazette Co-Editor
Originally born and raised on Long Island, New York, Kelly migrated to sunny Florida in 2004.
At the age of 16, she joined the Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections Office on the Poll Worker side as an EViD Inspector. During 2014, Kelly joined the Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections Office team working within the office. Kelly would assist voters in her early years by answering phones, assisting voters with the application process, and processing Vote by Mail ballots. Now you can find Kelly as one of the two Election Worker Coordinators working within the Poll Worker Department to staff our elections, as well as educating our students during our high school outreach programs, and the Great American Comeback tour.
Kelly also attended seventy hours of classes conducted by VR Systems on voter registration, campaign finance, Poll Worker maintenance, and conduct of elections and received her Master Florida Election Professional Certificate (MFCEP), in May of 2018.
After working full time while attending Florida South Western State College as a full time student, Kelly graduated in 2016 Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Supervision and Management and has been inducted into both the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. After college Kelly has furthered her education through competing the course for the signature verification seminar, the 2015 Politics and Government Course, and has her Master Florida Certified Elections Professionals Certification. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband Adam, family and friends, volunteering, fishing, ice skating, and going to the beach.
